From a young age, Damilola, the creative director and founder of Lubees Creations, discovered her love for baking. Growing up in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, she was enrolled in an after-school baking program, where her passion first began to bloom. After completing her secondary education, her supportive mum enrolled her in a formal baking school to help sharpen her skills even further.

While she took a break from baking to focus on her university studies and complete her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, the love for baking never left. In 2013, after NYSC, she made the bold decision to pursue baking full-time.

In 2018 after getting married, she relocated to the UK to join her husband—starting all over again in a new country. Through hard work, dedication, and her unique cake designs, Damilola gradually built a loyal customer base. Her cakes aren’t just beautiful—they’re incredibly delicious too!

Beyond baking bespoke cakes, Damilola’s passion has led her to share her knowledge with others. She has trained over 400 students onsite (first in Nigeria, now in the UK) and thousands more online across the globe. Her home-based bakery proudly holds a 5-star food hygiene rating from the Food Standards Agency.
